My sister gave Steve Spangler Science to my kids for birthdays/holidays… so far this test tube project might be the kids’ favorite. I can’t seem to get the video in here so you will have to imagine my daughter making noises in time with the bubbling colors.
Spangler is a monthly mailing of science projects that come in the mail. We have really enjoyed the various projects and it has been such a great addition to our remote and hybrid school days. My daughter just loves science and this monthly service introduces concepts in exciting kits. Most of what you need comes in a shoebox sized package and it has large direction cards for multiple experiments in each mailing.
This is a great gift option for those of you looking to find alternatives to kid requests of plastic stuff and video games. I have not looked around online, but I imagine there are other science clubs worth checking out.
